At MercaSur, we carefully select our products following strict quality standards and a strong commitment to food safety, based on a comprehensive supplier approval protocol.
In meat — our core business — we work with both national and imported products, including whole carcasses and specific cuts. All cuts are prepared according to customer specifications, and products can be supplied either fresh or frozen.

QUALITY

We receive carcasses and cuts from our suppliers on a daily basis. 

The origin of our products is both national and European. Within Spain, we source from regions such as Ávila, Salamanca and Galicia while at a European level we work with countries such as Ireland, Denmark, the Netherlands and Germany.

We offer a wide range of cuts including forequarter, flank, leg and loin,as well as customised specifications to meet the needs of supermarkets, butchers and the food service industry.
A high percentage of our beef is Halal certified.

Lamb is one of our flagship products,recental lamb is sourced from various Spanish markets, while ourmilk-fed lamb always comes from the Castilla y León region.We can supply both whole carcasses and cutsand we also offer Malaga milk-fed kid goat.

For our international clients we provide a dedicated range of lamb sourced from Ireland and New Zealand..

Most of our lamb is Halal certified, in order to meet the requirements of Muslim customers.

Our pork is always of national origin due to its unbeatable quality. We receive it daily, both as whole carcasses and in its most common cuts, such as hams, shoulders, loin cuts and tenderloins,among others.

This allows us to guarantee the highest quality of the raw material used in the production of our sausages, including products such as chorizo, chistorra, criollo and our successful range of British-style sausages.

In our commitment to meeting our customers’ needs, we have long incorporated a full range of poultry products into our portfolio are processed, as with pork, in separate production lines, allowing us to offer fresh same-day products in chicken and turkey. Duck and other specialty poultry can be supplied from both national and European sources.

We have a modern production facility where we prepare a wide range of products on a daily basis including chorizo, chistorra, criollo sausages and premium burgers,among others.

Since 2012, and thanks to master butcher Roy Dixon, owner of the renowned sausage seasoning company MRC, we have been producing some of the finest British sausages available in Southern Europe, in a variety of styles: Tradicional, Cumberland, Lincolnshire, Pork & Leek, Pork & Apple and Chipolatas.

We offer a range of British products, including sausages, bacon, gammon, as well as New Zealand lamb and Irish beef.
